Running back Jono Bell-Davis has been one of the standout performers of the Rams' 2026 campaign so far, earning the Offensive MVP award in the 56-2 victory over these same Glasgow Tigers on opening day. Bell-Davis scored three touchdowns that afternoon, including a devastating 86-yard run that put the result beyond doubt before halftime.

He followed that up with another strong showing at Chester, sparking the attack with a series of powerful carries before running it in for a touchdown in the 35-0 shutout. Against Newcastle, his second-half runs helped the Rams claw their way back into the contest.

With the Tigers sure to have the first meeting fresh in their minds, all eyes will be on whether Bell-Davis can replicate that opening-day form on the road in Clydebank.

Tight end and linebacker Steve Adamson was named the Glasgow Tigers' Defensive MVP following their 43-22 victory over the Inverclyde Goliaths on 10 May. Playing every snap on defence, Adamson was instrumental in shoring up the middle of the Tigers' defence and racked up a string of tackles against a run-heavy Goliaths side.

With the Rams' ground game posing the primary offensive threat, Adamson's ability to read and stop the run will be central to any hopes the Tigers have of avenging the opening-day defeat.

Summary
