The Rams triumphed over the Glasgow Tigers with a 35-20 victory in a competitive match held at Clydebank Community Sports Hub.

The game began with the Rams forcing a fumble on the Tigers’ first drive, setting the tone for the defense. Luke Campbell and Tyler Broad made significant plays, moving the Rams into the red zone. The Rams capitalized with a touchdown run, although the PAT was unsuccessful, giving the Rams an early 6-0 lead.

As the game progressed, the Rams’ defense continued to apply pressure, with Ryan Waters delivering multiple sacks, putting the team in an excellent position. Despite some setbacks and injuries, the Rams maintained their lead with contributions from various players, including a touchdown run by Campbell.

The Rams extended their lead with another touchdown and a successful 2-point conversion by Spencer, making it 21-14. Tyler Broad, who went over 1000 total yards for the season during the game, added another touchdown, followed by a successful 2-point conversion, pushing the lead to 29-14.

The Tigers responded with a touchdown, narrowing the score to 29-20. However, the Rams sealed the game with a trick play where Tom Mason (in at QB) made a back pass to Taylor Umland (now playing WR), who found Joey McEntee in the endzone, concluding the scoring at 35-20.

Despite the heat and the challenging conditions, the Rams showcased resilience and teamwork throughout the game.

The Rams end the season 7-3 and look forward to regrouping for next season.
