2020 season cancelled due to COVID-19
Tue May 12 2020
Today, the British American Football Association (BAFA) confirmed that the 2020 National Leagues would not take place.
The 2020 season should have started on April 19th with a home game against the Chester Romans but was delayed when the COVID-19 pandemic stopped all sporting activities in March.
BAFA have been keeping teams up-to-date with the contigency plans that were put in place to ensure that a season could take place but as lockdowns extended and countrywide restrictions stayed in place, the governing body has been unable to find a solution that would allow a season to take place.

There is still potential for smaller competitions or friendly games later in the year but that will be dependent on the state of the restrictions in the UK in the summer and beyond.
