Rams 2018 fixtures announced

The Rams fixtures for the 2018 season have been announced - and we will be opening up under the Saturday Night Lights at John Charles Stadium!

Following the success of last season’s final home game of the season against the Manchester Titans, which saw a bumper Saturday-evening crowd as well as a hard-fought Rams win, we will open up with a similar occasion against newly-promoted local rivals the Leeds Bobcats on April 14 at 4pm.

A trip to the Glasgow Tigers follows two weeks later on Sunday, April 29, before the Rams take a break from the action in May with the bulk of the season scheduled later in the summer.

The Gateshead Senators and Lancashire Wolverines visit Leeds in back-to-back weeks on June 3 and 10 - the Wolverines were relegated from the NFC Premier last season and are sure to provide a tough test as they seek to bounce back at the first attempt.

The mid-point of the season brings a home-and-away series with the Northumberland Vikings, with the Rams heading north on June 17 before the Tynesiders visit Leeds on July 1.

We make the short trip to the Bobcats on July 15 before hosting Glasgow on July 29, with the regular season completed by trips to Lancashire and Gateshead on August 5 and 12.

All Sunday home games are due to kick off at 2.30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as possible - starting on opening night - as we once again bid for promotion to the top flight!
