Yorkshire Rams Rookie Sessions

The Rams’ preparations for the new season get underway on November 19 with the first of our rookie sessions.

New players wanting to try the game for the first time can come along to John Charles Stadium in Leeds for an introductory session to see if it is for you.

There will be three rookie sessions in all, with the second following a week later on November 26 and the third on January 7 before the existing Rams squad get back into full training.

You could end up joining one of the country’s longest-established teams as we bid for promotion from Division One and a return to the NFC Premier.

And even if the standard or the training commitments prove too intense, you could still have a chance to get involved with the new Yorkshire Rampage - a more “social” team with an emphasis on playing for fun rather than the pressure of high-level competition.

The session begins at 10am and costs £5 to attend - or you can pay £10 up front for all three sessions. You will be introduced to the Rams coaching staff and be put through some basic American football drills.

All players should bring water, a gumshield and footwear for astroturf.
