Rams move full-time to John Charles Centre for Sport

Following a successful first season back at John Charles Centre for Sport, the Yorkshire Rams are pleased to announce we will be moving full-time to the venue for 2017.

Not only will the team’s home games in BAFA Division One North be staged at the stadium, but this season we will also be switching training there from Leeds Corinthians Rugby Club as well as holding other activities there.

Head coach David Pawson said: “After a great season last year at John Charles Stadium it is a good feeling to be moving the team here on a permanent basis with full-time training.

“The relationship the team has built with the staff made the decision on moving all training here very easy. Being able to train at the facilities of our home venue, as well as having access to both lecture rooms and a performance gym, will enable the coaches to develop the team even further.”

Having also recently hosted our end-of-season awards night and our rookie training sessions this pre-season, the stadium hosted the first full training session this past Sunday.

We look forward to another good season at JCCS, and hopefully this time around the stadium can play host to a Rams play-off game!
