On Saturday evening, the Yorkshire Rams held their annual awards evening at the Grosvenor Casino in Leeds. Celebrating the end of a winning season (having finished with a 5-4 record) which including victories over local rivals Sheffield Predators and Doncaster Mustangs to claim the title of “Yorkshire’s Number One” and a victory in the “War of the Roses” in a downpour at the Lancashire Wolverines.
It was a successful night for Adam Cowley, who took away Overall MVP, the Coaches Defensive MVP and retained the “Ram of the Year” title that he won in 2013. Joe Cavalier beat Cowley to the “Maniac of the Year” award, which is an impressive feat but wholly deserved.
